Fungi Bioblitz

Join Field Guide Jamie through the Siulsaw National Forest via The Discovery Loop Trail at the Cape Perpetua Visitors Center! Learn how to ID local mushrooms and collect species as part of the Cape Perpetua BioBlitz Series on iNaturalist! No previous mushroom hunting experience necessary!

🍄The trails/areas we use across the Fungi Bioblitzes can have some slight elevation gain, and require stepping around woody debris, roots, uneven terrain, and given the time of year it could be rainy or damp and/or muddy.

🍄An email will be sent out about a week before the BioBlitz with information as far as parking info clothing suggestions, items to bring if you'd like to etc.

🍄 Event is weather dependent- we will carry on if its drizzling, but not in hard rain/high winds for everyone's wellbeing. You will be contacted in the case of a weather cancellation.
