Young Wavemaker Webinars

About Young Wavemakers

Join us for our Young Wavemaker Webinars, a platform for young or early-career individuals to showcase their conservation work relating to the Cape Perpetua region.

In these webinars, participants are invited to deliver a 15-20 minute presentation about their work. The presentation is followed by a short conversation with the webinar host and then a Q&A session with the audience.

Brianna Bowman, the Young Wavemaker Program Lead, can offer feedback and support to presenters in advance of their talk to hone their science storytelling skills.

As a token of appreciation for their contributions, Young Wavemakers receive a small honorarium.

These webinars and podcasts are all recorded, allowing viewers to watch or listen to previous presentations and learn from the diverse range of conservation efforts highlighted by our Young Wavemakers.

Get inspired by the next generation of conservation leaders and learn fascinating facts from their experience!

Are you interested in becoming a Young Wavemaker or do you know any potential Young Wavemakers? Get in touch with program lead Brianna Bowman.
