Now Hiring!

The Cape Perpetua Collaborative (CPC) is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Trolley Naturalist/Guide to join our inaugural onboard interpretation program aboard the Yachats Area Trolley. This is an exciting opportunity to connect visitors and locals with the rich ecology, Indigenous heritage, and conservation values of the Cape Perpetua region, from the comfort of a scenic trolley ride along the central Oregon Coast.

The Trolley Naturalist will serve as a CPC ambassador, delivering engaging, short-format interpretive talks and facilitating informal Q&A sessions during Saturday trolley runs from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend 2026, plus two special event weekends (Mushroom Festival in October and Winter Festival in December).

Shifts will be rotated between multiple guides and determined according to schedule availability. We encourage those interested to inquire even if you are unable to commit to all dates outlined.

This is a paid, part-time, seasonal contract position managed by CPC and their fiscal sponsor Discover Your Northwest.
