Speaker Series

Join us for the Cape Perpetua Collaborative’s Speaker Series, a seasonal lineup of engaging, expert-led talks that explore the natural and cultural history of Oregon’s central coast. Each session features a guest speaker presenting on diverse topics, from environmental conservation to local history and beyond.

These events are designed to inform, inspire, and spark dialogue. Whether you're a local, a visitor, or a curious lifelong learner, there’s something to be gained by coming to learn and join the conversation.

Cape Perpetua Visitor Center

2400 Hwy 101 S, Yachats, OR 97498

When:

Saturdays during the fall and winter months. Check our events calendar for upcoming dates and topics.

How to attend:

Get a ticket via the event calendar listing. Spots are limited, and seating is first-come, first-served. 

Cost:

There is no charge for this event.  

Know before you go:

The Cape Perpetua Visitor Center has limited seating, so early arrival is encouraged. Parking is available on site and is free with a federal recreation pass or Oregon Coast Passport, otherwise it is a $5 day-use fee. The Visitor Center is accessible and also offers restrooms, educational exhibits, and scenic views of the coastline.
